Metal Forge was engaged to complete the design, manufacture & installation of metalwork to the project located at 43 Hall St, Bondi Beach. The package consisted of many elements, with the key items being curved timber look balustrades, glazed balustrades, operable window louvres, plant enclosures & perimeter fencing.

From the start of the process all the way to completion, Metal Forge were easy to deal with and constantly offered the support & experience to work through the intricate details to reach solutions. Despite being engaged on short notice, they were still able to stick to the programme requirements and installation durations on site.

I would like to commend the whole team for all their efforts in delivering this successful project and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Client:

Lords Group

Where heritage charm meets coastal modernism through precise architectural detailing.

This five-storey mixed-use development on Bondi’s vibrant Hall Street reimagines a heritage-listed commercial façade within a sleek, contemporary residential design. The project preserves its original brick frontage—once home to the beloved Bondi Ranch—framing it within a striking glass and steel envelope that reflects both the energy and evolution of the local streetscape.

Though not officially confirmed as a Metalforge project, the build exemplifies the type of work we’re known for: balancing heritage sensitivity with modern structural and aesthetic solutions. From custom façade battens and privacy screens to structural steelwork that supports adaptive reuse, projects like 43 Hall Street highlight the growing demand for metalwork that is both expressive and engineered.
